We live in a 24/7 world that’s constantly on the move. Education needs smart solutions to keep pace and adapt to the changing needs of centres and learners. Our Functional Skills offer does exactly that by offering the choice of three assessment methods: on demand assessment, online assessment and paper-based.

What is on demand assessment?

We're pretty proud of this one. On demand assessment is simple: the learner takes their assessment online at a time and place convenient to them (within reason!). No invigilator needs to be present while the assessment’s being taken, because everything’s recorded, ready to be invigilated at a later date.

There’s no need to book an exam slot and so no delays. With a two-year window to take the exam, it's 24/7 assessment delivered by an AO dedicated to making assessment completely flexible for the busy lives of centres, employers and learners.
